Want To Know Your Ugliness? New iPhone App Help You

No one is forget the lines from Snow White's fairy tale "Mirror, mirror on the wall / Who in the land is fairest of all?" Now its your turn to ask same question but not to the mirror but your iPhone and new iPhone app give response to you.
A new iPhone app called Ugly Meter claims to be able to tell you how ugly a person is. This $0.99 app available in the App Store.
How  Ugly Meter works :
1 - It take a photo of a person,
2 - Analyzes its contours in real-time and displays a score out of ten.
Since this is Ugly Meter, the score is about ugliness, the higher the score, the more ugly the person in the photo is.

Algorithm behind working :
Once accepted into the app, the picture can be lined up by the user using the on-screen grids to get the best results. Once done, the app delivers its verdict. As was found out, more often than not, it is rather vitriolic than pleasant.
Check out the result of Ugly Meter perform on various celebrities by Daily mail.
The first two to go were The most famous couple of  Hollywood Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Angelina scored 2.0 out of 10 which very low.

Brad Pitt score just opposite to Angelina ,what a interesting result.  So buy this app and check your ugliness.

CDMA iPhone in india

Reliance Communication and Tata teleservices might bring CDMA iPhone by this year-end.
Acoording to wall Street Journal Tata Teleservices and reliance Communication have been in talks with Apple Cooperation to bring CDMA iphone to INDIA.

As India is a big market for CDMA, so it should benefit both parties.
Apple iPhone has its own users in India and Airtel and Vodafone promised to bring iPhone 4 in India by this month but we see no details from their end as yet.

How this pact work :

if Reliance and Tata manage to convince Apple for bringing CDMA iPhone in India, then it might be competitively price alongside the GSM version. Only if both CDMA specializing telecoms manage to offer iPhone on contractual basis, a significant traction of Indian audience might get interested.

Biggest Threat for Google : Partnership between Facebook and Microsoft

When Microsoft launched Bing search engine its a little worry for Google but after Social media giant Facebook and Microsoft annoused that they are teaming up to make internet searching more social that could represent the biggest threat to Google's search dominating yet.

How partnership work:

When someone uses Microsoft's Bing search engine to look for a new mobile phone or a bike, he/she can see which ones his/her Facebook friends liked. It will now be easier for searchers to get their friends' opinions before they make purchasing decisions.

What Mark Zuckerberg Said on this partnership :
"They (Microsoft & facebook) really are the underdog here,They're incentivized to go out and innovate. They have all these smart people and are trying to do all these new things."

What Google Said :

"We welcome competition that helps deliver useful information to users and expands user choice,Having great competitors is a huge benefit to us and everyone in the search space. It makes us all work harder, and at the end of the day our users benefit from that."

What industry analysts said :

Microsoft-Facebook partnership could spell trouble for Google, despite the fact that the search giant handled 72.15% of all U.S. searches last month.
Zeus Kerravala, an analyst at Yankee Group Research said : "People prefer Google to Microsoft, but they prefer Facebook to Google. If the partnership makes Facebooking better, then it could pull users away from Google."
Valdes said. "There is a battle for the future of the Web, and it is not about search engines, but about the social Web.

My views :
Just wait and watch. whats your ? feel free to comment.
